Symptoms of tight quads/thighs could be knee pain, if you have tight hip-flexor or psoas muscles, you could be getting low back pain, or tightness in your buttocks
How to improve your flexibility
If you need to develop your quad/thigh flexibility, spend time in the stretch, from 30sec’s to 3 mins, and do this every night immediately before sleep to get the maximum benefit.When you can lay on your side, with your lower thigh 90o to your spine, bringing upper thigh in line with your spine and pulling heel to touch your butt, that would be a pass.
A lot of people have tight quads/thighs, and find it difficult to stretch them, this video shows how you would assist someone, you need to have their heel touch your butt, if not, you need more time spent on stretching thighs.
